OUR NETWORK
Edinburgh Mental Health is a community of academic researchers, clinicians and partner organisations who work together to produce cutting-edge, impactful research within the field of mental health.
Our Members
Edinburgh Mental Health's membership is open to researchers and collaborators of all career stages and disciplines based at or affiliated with the University of Edinburgh. Since September 2023, EMH membership has almost doubled. We now have over 200 members working within and across a diverse range of disciplines on a wide variety of topics and themes within the field of mental health. Becoming a member of EMH offers the opportunity to network and collaborate with colleagues one might not have otherwise worked with on a host of exciting and meaningful, challenge-led projects.
Our Management Team
The EMH network is led by our three Co-Directors, Professor Daniel Smith, Dr Sumeet Jain and Dr Helen Sharpe, all of whom bring a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge in the field of mental health from different disciplinary perspectives to the management of the network. MacKenzie Robertson, our Network Coordinator, ensures the smooth running of the network from the management of our communications platforms to the organisation and delivery of a wide range of EMH activities and initiatives, including internal and external funding calls, events and more.
Our Partners
Edinburgh Mental Health is proud to work in collaboration with not only with researchers and academics, but with clinicians, charities, industry, policymakers, the public and experts by experience. Please use the slide show below to explore some of our partner organisations.
Coming Soon!
We are building a 'find a researcher tool' which will allow you to learn more about our members and their research, and to search for potential collaborators based at the University of Edinburgh. This will be available on our website shortly, so please stay tuned! In the meantime, please explore our research themes, current projects, and latest opportunities.
