Edinburgh Mental Health has three bursaries of up to £500 available to support PhD Students and ECRs to attend conferences in the field of mental health this spring/summer!
Edinburgh Mental Health has three bursaries of up to £500 available to support Early Career Researchers and PhD Students presenting at, or who would like to attend, conferences in the field of mental health this summer. The funds are intended to cover the costs of travel, accommodation and registration for UK-based or online conferences where other funding is not provided.
Eligibility
PhD students or Early Career Researchers of any discipline affiliated with the University of Edinburgh presenting at, or attending a conference, in the field of mental health can apply.
Before submitting an application to this fund, you should ensure that you have explored other funding options both within and outwith your School/Centre and the University.
Priority will be given to applicants who are presenting at either a paper or poster at an upcoming event.
Applicants must adhere to University Expenditure Guidelines, including the use of the most economic means of transport. Please note the guidance that AirBnB properties are not allowed.
Please note that all funds must be spent by 31st July 2024.
If successful in your application, you may be asked to write a brief report after the conference on how the conference contributed to your career/ professional development.
